Have you ever thought of your body as an expensive machine that has its needs and maintenance requirements? Are you taking good care of this machine or are you abusing it? Is your body working at it’s best?

May be your body is already sending you signals in the form of pain, fatigue, overweight, allergy, high cholesterol, interrupted sleep, skin issues or even digestive issues. Are you taking them seriously? Or are you ignoring them or just suppressing them with medications?

I always compare suppressing your symptoms to just fixing the alarm system of your machine without dealing with the cause of the alarm. This means you that you will not hear the alarm anymore but this doesn’t mean that the machine is now working well. This is what happens when you take an aspirin to stop your pain or a “statin” drug to lower your high cholesterol.

If you have too much processed foods, sugar, bad fats, additives and preservatives and too little whole foods in your diet, you are exposing yourself to nutritional deficiencies, adding more toxins from food and compromising your health. Overtime your body will start to suffer and show signs of poor nutrition, toxicity and inflammation.

These signs of malfunction vary from one person to the other depending on too many factors. As they say every one of us has a bucket and it will become full at one point. This depends on the size of your bucket and how much of the bad stuff you are consuming daily. Some people of course are more sensitive than others to the adverse effects of toxins but no one is immune.

If you add stress and lack of sleep to the equation of poor nutrition and toxicity, the result is usually chronic disease conditions which are getting now much more common than ever before. Think of how many people you know who suffer from obesity, allergies, eczema, high blood pressure, heart disease, arthritis, chronic fatigue, colitis, cancer and the list goes on and on.

So what’s the solution? It’s as simple as cleansing your diet from processed and packaged foods and getting back to your ancestors food, whole foods. Think of it this way, if you are eating something that your grandmother wouldn’t recognize as food, then most probably it’s a non-food.

I know that this can be easier said than done. This is because you are surrounded by these non-foods all the time and they are usually easily accessible and very attractive and. These foods also have intentionally added chemicals that make them addictive and distorting to your natural taste sensation. Therefore it might take you some time to reset your taste buds and enjoy the natural taste of whole foods without added sweeteners and unnecessary flavors.

Have you ever imagined what can happen if you give your body high quality nutrition in the form of super foods?

A super-food is a minimally processed food or whole food that has the balanced combination of nutrients nature has given them. Super foods will provide you with vitamins, minerals, phyto-nutrients, essential oils and fiber that is needed for proper functioning of your body. They allow for optimum energy production, detoxifying toxins, boosting immunity, reducing inflammation and healing. Unlike synthetic supplements they are optimally absorbed and efficiently used by the body

As an Oakville nutritionist, I can tell you that super food nutrition has a true healing power that I’ve witnessed over and over again with my clients which never ceases to amaze me every time. This is what inspired me to design my new 21 Day Super Cleanse program.

This is a 21 day program designed to transform your health in just 21 days using the power of super food nutrition. I designed it especially for highly stressed, busy and overwhelmed clients as well as clients who have chronic health issues or who need to see quick changes in their health to get motivated to do more. I use it also with my old clients who are already following a healthy lifestyle but need to give their health a boost or cleanse their system.

A cleanse can increase your energy and allow you to release excess fat in a healthy way through nourishing and detoxifying your body on the cellular level using concentrated whole super food nutrition.

Hope this article inspires and motivates you to take action to start improving your health through adopting whole super food nutrition. Let me know your thoughts!
