When you find yourself doing this, you have to pause and ask yourself why is this happening? Search deep within yourself for answers. If you don’t get an answer right away, keep asking and searching until you do. You can do this while meditating or through dialoguing with yourself in a journal. You will eventually find out that there are unconscious emotions that are blocking you. These are usually emotions of fear, anger, guilt, unworthiness, not being good enough or any other deep seated emotion that might be even traced back to your childhood.
Oftentimes emotions are not considered or honored enough in our daily life. Many of us stuff our emotions and this unhealthy attitude will only end in emotional blocks that impede the energy flow in the body. Overtime energy blocks show up as pains, aches and serious disease.
Some of the clients I see in my holistic nutrition practice, seem to be very enthusiastic and apparently ready to make the required changes to transform their health. However when it comes to taking action, they resist doing the work and are not committed to using the tools I give them. They keep coming up with excuses, complaining about life and postponing appointments. Deep down I know they are showing resistance because they are not ready. They want to do the work but subconsciously they are not emotionally prepared yet for this step. They have subconscious emotional blocks or limiting beliefs that are sabotaging their plans, even before they start.
As a holistic health expert, I consider myself a guide and a transformation agent who gets to the root cause of your physical as well as your mental issues and offer you the required tools that help you in making changes. The mind body connection is very powerful and usually negative thoughts and emotions are at the root cause of most diseases.

Be always open to new ideas, ask the right questions and never become attached to anything. This will help you release old unwanted beliefs and limiting emotions and become open to change.
To attain optimal health, your mind and your spirit have to be aligned with your body. Mindfulness, emotional awareness and spiritual connection with a higher power are all important pillars of holistic health.
