Have you tried everything to lose weight with no visible results? Are you disappointed by the way your body looks and wish you can change it today? Do you always start making healthy changes to lose weight only to find yourself falling back into your old habits?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, there is a good chance that you need a mind-body alignment to help you get rid of any emotional blocks that are keeping you from releasing the extra weight and having the body you want.

The subconscious mind programming

Contrary to what you might think, it is your subconscious mind not your conscious mind that is controlling your daily actions and habits. Your subconscious mind was programmed with all your beliefs and perceptions when you were a very young child. Any effort to change this programming can be met with resistance and that’s why you may unconsciously self-sabotaging your good efforts and the result is guilt, disappointment and frustration.

Limiting Beliefs and Blocks

As an Oakville-based holistic nutritionist specializing in weight loss, I find that sometimes my weight loss clients would start their weight loss program with much energy and enthusiasm that fades away within a very short time. They would then feel stuck and may procrastinate on whatever they have to do to achieve their health goals.

When this happens, I point out to these clients that they need to work on their subconscious limiting negative beliefs, so that their weight loss efforts can come into fruition.

No will power or force will help in this condition because eventually they will encounter the resistance of these false ideas and beliefs and feel powerless.

The power of Visualization

The best way to access your subconscious mind and start releasing any unwanted false beliefs that are blocking you, is to practice daily visualization.

Visualization is a form of meditation. It is the process of creating positive mental imagery. It is a very powerful technique that can help you tap into your subconscious mind and its amazing imaginative power.

It has been discovered that what we imagine in our minds has a direct correlation of how our body responds to life. Imagery might even shift the cellular mechanisms and intelligence of the cells. When the mind is focused and calm, the body can relax and will assist the body systems in becoming stronger and healthier.

Visualization has been successfully used to help with weight loss and healing of serious chronic disease conditions including cancer. It can be a very helpful tool to help you keep motivated so that you can effortlessly reach your health goals within a very short period of time.

Visualize your health goal

Try to set a time every day to practice visualizing your health goal. Try imagining in your mind how you want your body to function internally and look like externally and tune into how this image feels like for you.

The more vivid and detailed this picture is, the better results you will get. It might take you some time to perfect your image so just be patient and consistent with your visualization.

Our weight loss clients have used this technique have reported very positive results.  So try this simple technique and let me know how it worked for you.
